Suitable for beginners or those that are experienced, this is a singular 4 hour workshop, run by me, Georgia Flowers at West Hove Studio, 16 Kingsthorpe Road, Hove BN3 5HR.
The workshops are one-on-one, with the option of attending as a group of two at a discounted price and they take place on various Mondays and Wednesdays while other printmakers are using the facilities in the studio as part of ‘Print Club’. You can select the date you’d like to book below.
One you have booked, I will email you with all the pre-workshop preparation information you’ll need. If you’d like to attend a workshop with a group of more than two people, or if the dates listed don’t work for you please get in touch instead by emailing hello@georgiaflowers.co.uk.
At this workshop, you will learn:
How to transfer/draw an image onto lino
How to use a variety of artist quality linocutting tools to carve your image
How to apply ink to your finished linoblock and make prints of it using our Tofko studio press
However, if you aren’t a beginner and there are particular skills you would like to hone, due to the nature of the workshop being 1:1 / 2:1, the workshop can be tailored around you! Drop me an email and we can discuss.
At the end of the workshop, you will take home with you a finished linocut which you can print from again in the future as well as a number of prints that you will have made during the workshop. There will be a range of colours that you can choose to print with.
All materials and refreshments are included in the price
