An opportunity to learn how to carve a linocut design to then print onto cards!

Suitable for beginners or those that are experienced, this is a singular 4 hour workshop, run by Georgia Flowers at West Hove Studio, 16 Kingsthorpe Road, Hove BN3 5HR

Wednesday 19th November 2025 4.30-8.30pm

At this one-off workshop, you have the option of attending on your own or as a group of two at a discounted rate, giving you the unique experience of a 1:1 / 2:1 teaching experience.

One you have booked, Georgia will email you with all the pre-workshop preparation information you’ll need. If you’d like to attend a workshop with a group of more than two people please get in touch instead by emailing hello@georgiaflowers.co.uk.

On this course, you will learn:

  • How to transfer/draw an image onto Lino

  • Understand how carving your image affects how it comes out in print

  • How to use a variety of artist quality tools and learn about the different shapes

  • How to apply ink and make a one layer print using our Tofko studio press

  • How to line up blank card templates with your design

At the end of the workshop, you will take home with you a finished linocut which you can print from again in the future as well as a number of printed cards that you will have made during the workshop along with matching envelopes. There will be a range of colours that you can choose to print with.
