A two layer reduction linocut print which is inspired by the jewellery of my friend Amanda Doughty. I took a photograph of one of her brooches in strong sunlight, using the contrasting tones of the object and its shadows to create silver and grey layers that result in my first semi abstract piece.
Printed onto pure white silk Japanese paper using oil based printmaking inks
