A multiblock linocut print inspired by a photo I took of a scaffolding structure whilst out walking.
I created this piece in response to the RA Summer Exhibition 2026 theme ‘Interconnectedness’, exploring the idea of connection and unity within a structure and how each part of it is essential in it’s connectedness in order to exist.
I cut a blank piece of lino and inked it up in grey ink before printing it as a background to then print a linocut of scaffolding that I designed and carved over the top it it in black ink.
Printed on Somerset 100% cotton grey paper
